Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic dental procedure that will bring a much needed change to your smile. Whether you are suffering from discoloration due to aging, coffee, wine, smoking, medication, or other factors, this safe, quick, and inexpensive treatment is going to be a blessing to your smile.
It is not uncommon to see over-the-counter teeth whitening products when strolling through your local store. Toothpastes, mouthwashes, and even chewing gum line the shelves, almost calling out to be tested. We recommend backing away from the over-the-counter products and giving our office a call to schedule an appointment to learn about the professional grade treatment that we offer. Over-the-counter products do not yield lasting results and can greatly affect the sensitivity of your teeth. Teeth whitening should not be a one-size-fits-all option.
At-Home Whitening
We offer an at-home whitening product for our patients. Following your initial appointment, we will use impressions of your teeth to create custom bleach splints, or teeth molds, similar to a sports mouthguard. A bleach solution will be applied to the splints and worn daily. This at-home treatment can be used for approximately 30 minutes per day for a week or two to achieve the whiteness you desire. Following the treatment, you will notice significant color changes in your teeth, and the splints can be used occasionally to maintain the whiteness whenever you feel it necessary.
