Be sure to share any information about any medications, previous illnesses or conditions that may affect your dental care. We will discuss this with you during your appointment, as certain conditions and medications can impact your oral health and the way that we care for you during your appointment. If you have a condition that requires medication, before any dental treatments, be sure to notify our team when you schedule your appointment.
The Hygiene Examination
During your first appointment, we will complete a comprehensive examination, digital X-rays, and inspect for signs of gum disease and oral cancer. Following your appointment, we will review our findings and offer a review of your treatment options if anything further is needed. If you have any X-rays from a previous office that you would like to share prior to your visit, we would greatly appreciate seeing them. This is also the perfect time to share any concerns or discuss any changes you would like to see. We offer a number of cosmetic treatments that can make great aesthetic improvements.
